چکیده

the mean age of ftd onset is much younger than that of alzheimers disease. behavioral disturbances occur in early stages of ftd, and social dysfunction and personality deterioration may ensue. for this reason, it may be misdiagnosed with other psychiatric disorders. therefore, more careful observation and concern is required for proper diagnosis. our report is about a patient who was misdiagnosed with disorders such as schizotypal personality disorder, schizophrenia and ocd and therefore was mistreated for them. we reviewed this case based on neuropsychiatric history, family history, neuropsychological test and brain mri and considered this case as ftd with a positive family history. we plan to investigate the mapt gene for the patient. this family gives us the chance to discover the gene locus associated with this condition.
